  1. Rob, I ended up buying a Premier telescoping rod that works great. The van has a ladder on the rear door to access the roof so I attach the pole to the ladder, between the ladder and the door. It's really stable. At 16', I need some longer wind socks as the 5' ones look tiny way up there!!! Jay
  2. Hello All and thanks for this wonderful resource. I started casually flying kites in the early 80's, mostly just sending single line kites up and staring at them. I also took a tiny pocket kite on many backpacking trips. In the mid-90's, picked up a small dual line Premier kite and a Rev II. I spent many hours on these kites, initially while playing hooky from grad school duties! I've recently jumped back in the fray with a delta conyne, a dual line sled and a couple of Prism dual lines, one for me and one for my wife. I also just flew a new, custom Rev XX Tarantula for the first time this past weekend. It's good to be back!!
  3. John, Thanks for the site and all the training videos. I'm just getting back into quads after a 20+ year hiatus. I'm looking forward to hearing about any upcoming workshops... Jay
  4. Hello Everyone, I've been flying 2 line and my Rev 2 for a few years. I'd like to temporarily attach a 4-6 ft mast to my vehicle when parked at the beach to fly a few spinners from. Any thoughts on where I might get this from (US)? I was thinking of of using some 1in PVC.
